In 1992, three white and Eurasian middle-class ner punks, set up Bunker Records in the town of The Hague. This was the start of a whole revolution in the electronic music scene at this point. Bunker Records has long been a key institution of the wider acid and techno world. The following years, the community became bigger and bigger. The result of this, were legendary clubs and illegal raves all over The Hague in the 90s amd start 00s, which had big influence of the scene in the rest of the world.
The following photographs is the result of an examination of the historic locations of clubs and illegal rave parties in that period. Some of the buildings of the original clubs no longer exists, or have been replaced with modern housing offices or homes.
